Sometimes we need to protect our iPad with password. It’s so easy to recover or change our iPad password. Here some tips to protect your iPad with password. The first before you do, we suggest you to make a backup of your iPad via iTunes. Why? You can restore from backup in case you forget your password in the next time without having to restore it as a new device (If you do make a backup when a password has already been made, when you forget you r iPad password, you only have to restore your iPad as a new device).
To start the password creation process, click on the “Settings” icon or app from your main screen (it’s the one that looks like gears). Then in the Settings menu, click on the “General” tab, which is the fifth option from the top after “Picture Frame”. This will bring out several options to your right. Click on “Passcode Lock”, which will be the seventh option from the top. Then you will be asked to pick a 4 digit codefor your password. To be sure you picked the right passcode, you will be prompted to enter it again.
In the future you can enable or disable the passcode by press the button on the top tab allows you to turn your passcode on and off.
