How to turn on Airplane mode when you on the plane

Do you often go to with a plane?, When you go to somewhere with air plane you have to turn off your wireless devices. Because there are any airline regulations about. But if you are using iPad you don’t need to turn off your iPad, you just need to turn on the Airplane Mode. To active Airplane mode Go to Settings and then turn Airplane Mode on.

When the Airplane Mode is on, a small sign (plane) will be appears in the status bar at the top of the screen of your iPad. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals are not emitted and GPS reception is turned off also, disabling many iPad features. So you will not be able to :

  • Send or receive email.
  • Browse the Internet.
  • Sync your contacts, calendars, or bookmarks.
  • Stream YouTube videos.
  • Get weather reports.
  • Get map locations.
  • Use the iTunes Store, iBookstore, or the App Store.
  • Use Game Center

But you can use another iPad features such as :

  • Listen to music or watch videos.
  • Check your calendar.
  • View photos.
  • Take notes.
  • Read email messages stored on iPad

But before you do that, better you ask to aircraft operator to make sure if it’s not violate the airplane regulation
