How to find your lost or stolen iPad?

If you are getting some problem with your iPad, you’ve lost it or someone has stolen it?, what is any way to find it again?. The first our question is, can I find our lost or stolen iPad?,  yes. You may know the location of your iPad, and even you can play any sound or display any message on your iPad, nothing impossible!,you can do it even you use iOS 4 on your iPad but you have to enable “Find my iPad” Feature and lock it by using existing pass code, and also you can delete all data on your iPad remotely.

Here step by step how to active “Find my iPad feature on your iPad :

  • Open Settings app, select “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and make a check that “Fetch New Data” is set to Push.
  • Select “Add Account…”, choose iCloud (or MobileMe in iOS 4), then enter your Apple ID and password.
  • When prompted, tap “OK” button to allow the service to use the location of your iPad.
  • Keep the setting “Find My iPad” on and tap “Save” button.

Step by step to find your iPad:

  1. Sign in on iCloud (for iOS 5) or me.com (for iOS 4) with your Apple ID using a PC web browser, or another device installed with Find My iPhone.
  2. Once your device’s location is updated on a Google map, click the right-angle or info button next to the device name.
  3. Click “Play Sound or Send Message“, “Remote Lock” or “Remote Wipe” as you want to.
